Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What is e-giving?

e-giving is short for electronic giving. It is an automatic transfer program that allows you to make contributions without the hassle of writing checks.

How does it work?

Go to our website, fbcfayetteville.com, and click on the “e-giving” link. Then, simply follow the directions to authorize an ACH deduction, and you can make a donation via your checking account, savings account, or credit/ debit card. It will be transferred directly to the church account.

How often will the amount be deducted from my account?

That’s up to you. You can make a one-time donation or set up recurring donations. There are 5 recurring options: weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, monthly or quarterly.

Can I donate to various funds and causes in the organization?

Absolutely. You will be able to designate exactly what fund you would like your donation to benefit.

What if I try it and I don’t like it?

You can cancel your automatic deduction schedule on the website at anytime.

Can I look up my donations online?

You can view all donations completed online, print out a statement, and even use it for tax purposes. How much does e-giving cost? It will not cost you anything. The small fee is charged to the church office budget.

Is e-giving secure?

Absolutely! Our provider has the highest security standards and is PCI Level 1 compliant. With this new tool, you can make your regular tithe, pay for a youth trip, or give to Lottie Moon. These are just a few of the many options you can make at your convenience, anytime or anywhere.
